What the heck does "mixin impossible" even mean?
"Mixin impossible" was born in early 1999. It basically was a catchy title for mixes that my neighbor and I would make on our computers. As time went on, the name stuck, the mixes became much more elaborate and complex. Today's mixes are a combination of vinyl and computer software. At some points in MI4 and MI5, there are up to 5 tracks playing simultaneously, which is what makes them well....
....impossible.
Where did the title "dj beta" come from?
This name is more of a description than a title. "Beta" comes from computer programming, signifying a version that isn't quite final. I have gotten into the habit of changing my mixes so many times, they always seem to be in the "beta" stage of development, never quite final. Mixin Impossible 5, for example, went through 22 different versions before it was released.
Are these mixes safe to listen to at work?
Absolutely not. The Mixin Impossible series is known for making people lose control of their hands, arms, and in some cases, even loss of bowel control. Listen to these at your own risk. Mixinimpossible.com cannot be held responsible for injuries you may incur while listening.
Where is Mixin Impossible 1.0?
Not everything has to start at the beginning.
